The main activity of Conarpesa is wild shrimp capture and processing using own ships and plants on land. The company was founded in Argentina in the year 1977, being pioneer in Patagonia.

At present, Conarpesa is the world’s largest fishing exporter and the largest exporter of Argentinian wild shrimp.

It has 4 processing plants and employs over 1,000 people as employees and many more indirectly.
Conarpesa is today one of the main sources of employment in Patagonia.

With a significant reinvestment of profits in the country, Conarpesa has remained at the forefront of the fishing industry and has kept on constantly improving its processes, fleet, plants, human resources and business projects.
